LEAD MOBILE APP DEVELOPER

Media Choice LLC is a rapidly growing company in the outdoor advertising industry. Through its sister company, WhereTech LLC, the company has been focusing on app development for emergency management situations. It is now available in the Apple and Android app store. WhereTech is ready to launch, and we are growing our team. WhereTech is a small group committed to the ongoing success of our products. Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain our mobile apps (iOS & Android)
• Work with product and design to engineer new features
• Help maintain code quality and review others code
• Proactively address performance issues and bugs with offshore team
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Use available project management and communication tools to work with everyone on the team
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance with offshore team
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product Management team to plan new features
• Collaborate and support the customer support team

Qualifications

• Strong industry experience (minimum 5 years of full-time mobile app development)
• Have an eye for good UI / UX design by following platform specific design principles and guidelines
• Understanding of end-to-end mobile development life cycle, App store & Play store management.
• Experience with latest Android & iOS frameworks
• Proficient with Swift and/or Objective-C
• Proficient with Kotlin and/or Java
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends & emerging technologies
• Good to have experience working with Map APIs & real-time system (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Esri, PubNub etc.)
• Experience working with tools like Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins
• Working knowledge of web technologies (Angular, Node, AWS) is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,830.00 – $147,287.00 per year
