The Executive Vice President of Partnership Development and Marketing will be responsible for the following duties in addition to others as assigned at the discretion of the President and Managing Director. These duties are subject to updates at the discretion of the President and Managing Director at any time:

Marketing and Partnership Development

• Collaborate with other executives and staff on proposals and case studies for business development

• Draft business agreements and scopes of work for potential clients

• Create client-facing presentations, proposals, scopes and budgets

• Manage the Agency’s HubSpot/CRM account

• Create presentations and pitches for business development meetings

• Communicate with potential clients

• Utilize agency estimating tools and worksheets to generate pricing for proposals

• Coordinate meetings with potential clients

• Represent the Agency at trades shows and industry networking events

• Participate in BD meetings

• Define the scope of the project
• Plan a project’s cost
• Manage project resources (including teams and workers)

Internal Management

• Ensure effective and timely project management

• Maintain and update case studies

• Maintain and update promotional materials, templates

• Utilize pricing calculator and other Agency tools to successfully price engagements

• Support opportunities for the Agency and staff to receive awards

• Lead initiative to recognize staff that bring in new business

• Think quickly under stress to maintain positive public outlook and a productive companywide environment for the benefit of clients and staff.

• Collaborate with colleagues, including account team staff, designers, and more, to ensure successful partnership and promotional materials

• Adhere to agency processes and protocols

• Drafts are near perfect, formatted for readability, well-written, proofed, error-free

• Ability to quickly produce materials

• Know industry issues, media landscape, context, ers

Staff Management

• Supervise positions to be determined by the Managing Director and President.

Writing

• Excellent writing involving the highest level of complexity and strategy

Travel

• Semi-regular travel will be required

Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant contracting, sales, estimating and/or marketing experience

• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for social justice causes and workers’ rights/labor union issues strongly preferred

• Experience working for or with a marketing, public relations, advertising, or other form of communications agency or firm strongly preferred

This position will be based in Greater Boston. The minimum starting base salary for this position is $105,500 annually.
