Medical Billing Center of Colorado Hiring for Medical Biller at Remote Full Time

Medical Billing Center is a Fort Collins based medical billing and practice management company established in 1960. Candidates for this full time position must be fast and accurate in entering data and possess excellent analytical and customer service skills.

The job responsibilities include:

• Answering patient phone calls and take payments over the phone.
• Submitting new insurance claims
• Posting insurance and patient payments and reconciling daily transactions.
• Making phone calls to patients regarding outstanding bills.
• Answering patient inquiries about account status and charges
• Processing insurance denials and appeals
• Working on accounts receivable projects

Requirements:

The ability to interact in a team environment with staff, clients, and patients. Remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with high level of professionalism and confidentiality are crucial to this job. Proficient level of written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail are equally important. Previous work experience in billing, accounting or banking is a plus.

This is full time position with medical benefits and paid vacation time and holidays.
