What you will do this role:Â Â

The Clinical Supervisor/RN assists the director/manager in planning, organization, directing, and coordinating the clinical and management activities of an assigned area responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Â

Important aspects of this responsibility are the promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge skills and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of this facility; and supervision of other staff as designated within the department.
Qualifications
Qualifications:Â
Education:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
What qualifications you will need:
- Current TX RN licensure
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification required
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Life Support Course (PALS) and Certification Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Life Support Course (PALS) and Certification Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Life Support Course (PALS) and CertificationÂ
- 2 years experience in PACU/Recovery with 1 year Charge experience
