Medical Consulting Group is seeking a full-time Medical Copywriter to become an essential part of our in-house creative team.

The ideal candidate will have experience crafting short-form business-to-consumer and business-to-business copy as well as long-form editorial copy. As the Medical Copywriter, you are a storyteller who loves to collaborate with creatives to bring a client’s voice to life online and in print. You have the ability to understand and write in more than one voice and adapt your writing skills as necessary to reach a diverse audience. You are comfortable working under deadlines and across multiple projects.

Regularly you will . . .

• Work with creative team member to brainstorm, plan, and craft copy for digital and traditional marketing and advertising: Digital – Websites, social media ads and content, in-stream radio and video ads, web video scripts, PPC ads, and podcast scripts. Traditional – Brochures, direct mail, newsletters, billboards, posters/flyers, press releases, print ads/misc. print pieces, radio, TV commercials, and signage
• Work with MCG consultants and department experts to ghostwrite articles for professional publication.
• Follow creative direction, work in a group dynamic, and actively participate on any given project or team to which assigned
• Manage multiple projects with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly
• Meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints
• Keep communication and key messaging up to date across materials

Success in this position will require . . .

• Two years of hands-on creative copywriting experience with an interest in science, medicine, and marketing primarily to eyecare patients
• Ability to be a sociable team player with an eye for detail and an eagerness to continue learning
