Job Summary
This position will provide centralized oversight and is responsible for the administration and management of both ER Navigation and Community Outreach programs and initiatives within Community Health. This position is responsible for working closely with Memorial Hermann and Community Partners to develop and enhance all CHW programs to ensure all program goals are met.
The incumbent will support the Director with administrative functions of these programs, including time management, budget development, administration, and staffing. This position will provide support and guidance to staff in identifying and connecting uninsured and underinsured populations with community health and social service resources and benefits. This position will require the incumbent to have extensive knowledge and understanding of issues specific to access of healthcare by uninsured and underinsured populations. This position will require travel.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associates in Health Services, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Certified Community Health Worker required
