In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
For more than 20 years, Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities (IHCD) has worked to identify and eliminate disparities in health and cancer treatment among immigrants and minorities. Housed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center since 2011, the IHCD Service offers a wide range of programs for patients, healthcare professionals, and patient advocates. Our team uses a multidisciplinary approach to address gaps in healthcare at the local, national, and global levels. Our community-based programs provide a gateway to health education and services for immigrants and other medically underserved in New York City and beyond.
The position requires fluency in French – written and spoken.
Hours: Initial training M-F 9 am – 5 pm.
As an integral member of the research team, and in compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements, the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) assists with the maintenance of participant management and data management on research/clinical studies. In this role, you will work closely with our Taxi Network Initiative to investigate varying health concerns within NYC Taxi drivers. The CRC will be responsible for subject enrollment, interviews, data collection, entry and analysis and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the life of the study.
