DESCRIPTION
Mendocino College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track instructor to join our friendly,
dynamic and student- centered business department. This academic position will provide instruction for students in business transfer,
associate and certificate programs. With primary emphasis on high quality undergraduate education, courses offered include introduction
to business, marketing, accounting, business law, economics, business math, entrepreneurship, human resources, and customer
service. In addition to teaching on the main campus in Ukiah, business courses are offered online, hybrid, as well as in-person at our
Centers throughout the Mendocino-Lake Community College District (MLCCD).

This is a full-time, tenure-track position, mid-year hire, offering a 10-month contract (August-May). This
position has a start date of January 19, 2024. The annual teaching load is 510 lecture hours, 680 lab hours, or a combination of the
two. The annual work year includes 164 instructional days and eleven professional development/flex days. This assignment may include
day, evening, and weekend classes, as well as travel to, and instruction at off-campus centers.

Compensation is dependent on education and experience.
Annual salary offered at $69,512 – $99,727.
Step seven (7) is the maximum step placement based on year for year teaching experience or two years of FTE work experience in the field per
step.

Benefits: With NO monthly premium contribution from the faculty member, we offer a comprehensive benefits package
that includes family medical, dental, vision, EAP benefits and employee life insurance. Additional voluntary life insurance is available for
employee purchase. Benefits are effective the first of the month following hire
date.
Paid Time Off: The successful candidate will earn ten (10) days of
sick leave per year.
Retirement: This position is eligible for CalSTRS Retirement. Additional, voluntary
403{b)programs are available.
