Overview:
This is a REMOTE position.
The Talent Relations Advisor position responds to various contact channels (telephone calls, emails, chats, and jabbers) from Mercy co-workers requesting assistance, information, answers to questions, and assistance with co-worker relations issues through the Mercy Human Resources Talent Support Center (TSC). Utilizes knowledge about Mercy HR to provide information about Mercy HR policies, whom to contact, forms, processes or procedures, and questions about any HR topic. Provides co-worker relations expertise if issue can be handled in one call. Responds within scope of influence and escalates co-worker relations issues that cannot be handled in one call to the Talent Relations Team. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values and service standards. Talent Relations Advisors work remote.
Qualifications:
Experience: Four + years Human Resources experience.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or other comparable discipline or equivalent work experience
Preferred Experience: Mercy HR operations experience
Lawson HR experience, PHR certification
Other: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS software
Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong communication skills and decision-making abilities
Keen attention to detail, problem solving skills and organized
Customer focused, outstanding service orientation and positive attitude
Reliable, dependable and resourceful
Learning agility
Acts with sense of urgency and bias for action
Ability to work with and preserve confidential information
Knowledge of employment law and its application to workplace issues.
Demonstrated competency and general understanding of various areas of human resources (employee relations, selection/recruiting, counseling, performance management, etc.).
Proficient in utilizing computer and multi-tasking on various systems at the same time, including Microsoft products (Word, Teams, Jabber, etc.), to triage calls.
Strong time management skills with ability to work independently with little supervision. Will spend long hours on the computer and telephone.
Ability to work remotely.
