We are part of the AI Innovation Center for Ads and Monetization org (Meta AI). We incubate and integrate state-of-the-art AI/ML advancements and best practices into the Ads and Monetization products, helping these products hit their long-term and company-critical goals. Partnering with the product and infrastructure teams, we have contributed over $30B cumulative value for the company in the past two years.This team works on a wide variety of ML areas, e.g., ranking, recommendation, advanced modeling, reinforcement learning, data scaling and learning, content understanding, and ads supply (optimizing the trade-off between ads revenue and user engagement). Some of the specific topics we focus on include end-to-end joint modeling, retrieval, user modeling, AutoML, semi/self-supervised learning, graph learning, large-capacity modeling (e.g., Transformer), signal growth (e.g., recovering from signal loss due to opt-out users for privacy purposes), optimization, uplift modeling, causal reasoning, personalization, etc.Our team at Meta AI offers twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks long internships and we have various start dates throughout the year.
