A systems research associate will conduct advanced research and development in Meta’s planetary-scale private cloud that consists of millions of machines. The research result may lead to real-world impact on billions of users of Meta products as well as research publications in top research conferences to help advance the state of the art.
Systems Research Associate Responsibilities:
- Analyze production data from large-scale distributed systems
- Design and implement solutions that improve various aspects of large-scale distributed systems
- Draft research papers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
- Currently is enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field.
- Has some prior experience in conducting systems research.
