Responsible for patient care outcomes through the coordinated delivery protocols for areas of responsibility. With guidance from the Transport Services Manager or Director, deploys priorities for clinical quality, service and Associate development and retention. Assists transport team members with the coordination of safely transporting assigned patients. Responsible for assuring the general upkeep of the physical facilities and patient care equipment. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Respiratory, or Healthcare related field from an accredited program.
All Associates entering this job must have three (3) years’ experience in a transport service or three (3) years of leadership experience in an acute care setting.
Licensed to practice in Tennessee or compact license for nursing candidates.
Nurse:
Tennessee EMT licenses within 1 year of start date:
Non-Nursing candidates must obtain licenses in Arkansas and Mississippi within 6 months of hire date.
Paramedic Candidates must be a licensed TN Critical Care Paramedic or have FP-C
RRT:
Achieve the NPS or NCCT credential within one year of hire, and maintain this credential.
BLS Certification
Must have acceptable motor vehicle record and insurability.
All Associates in this position must have the following within 6 months of start date:

Neonatal and Pediatric Transport experience or Air Ambulance Service.

SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED:
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, Respiratory Therapist and Paramedic candidates may possess an Associate’s Degree and six (6) years of relevant clinical experience.
