Metro Studios is a digital marketing agency. We serve clients in a variety of industries including financial institutions, health care providers, industrial manufacturers, lawyers, sports and more. Our small agency is filled with creative and innovative employees working on everything from web development, to search marketing, to video production.
Effective immediately, Metro Studios wants to expand our Web Development team by adding a full-time Web Developer, with 1-2 years experience in Front-end development.
Required skills include:
- A strong understanding of modern HTML and CSS standards and features.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, and libraries such as jQuery
- Ability to create clean, efficient, and organized code
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems
Bonus skills:
- WordPress Development capabilities, including the ability to extend core functionalities with frameworks such as ACF
- Experience with PHP/MySQL
- Familiarity with CSS/JS preprocessors and build tools (such as Sass or Babel)

This position will require working full-time in our Hiawatha, IA office.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Front-end development: 1 year (Preferred)
- CSS: 2 years (Preferred)
