MGA Research Corporation Hiring for Aerospace Test Engineer Job at Lincoln, AL Full Time

MGA Research Corporation is a world-renowned testing services and equipment provider with nine facility locations across North America. We are seeking an entry-level Test Engineer to work in our Aerospace Test Lab in Lincoln, Alabama where we focus on pyrotechnic shock simulation, vibration, environmental, and other mechanical aerospace testing. This position is responsible for project management and the coordination of test execution for a variety of aerospace and defense contract clients. The role offers the right candidate a large amount of leadership and management potential.

The Role::

• Execute high frequency shock, vibration, and other mechanical tests in support of various aerospace and defense clients
• Planning, coordinating, and management of projects and test processes to ensure the high level of test quality
• Management of other team members in daily operations including technical guidance and in customer service
• Semi-frequent travel to customer sites for training in support of engineering equipment sales
• Forecast customer and facility/equipment needs to support business growth
• Provide regular updates to management on project progress
• Business and/or engineering sales

Qualifications and Requirements::

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
• Willingness to work in a physical testing environment, including setup and execution of tests
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
• High Conscientiousness
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for business related meetings and/or other MGA facilities for technical support
• Maintain professional integrity
• Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Bonus Qualifications::

• Internship or other experience in the aerospace or testing field
• Business or other sales background a plus

MGA’s facility in Alabama is located approximately 45 miles east of Birmingham, Alabama. We are situated right next to the famed Talladega Superspeedway, and right in the middle of the buzzing automotive industry in the Southeastern United States.
