Job Overview: The Human Resources Assistant will support our human resources department by creating new employee packets, manage employee records, organize and update files, recruitment and prepare reports, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
· Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources department
· Compile and update employee records
· Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
· Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, etc.)
· Track and maintain employee benefit enrollments
· Track and maintain employee attendance records
· Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
· Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
· Assist our recruiters to source candidates
· Follow relevant MTTM procedures and the MTTM Quality Policy
· Complete additional duties as assigned by MTTM management
· Adhere to all Safety Policies established by Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals, LLC.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
· Basic knowledge of labor laws
· Excellent organizational skills
· Strong communications skills
Physical Requirements:
· Satisfy and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity standards.
· Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
· Communicate effectively.
