Summary

Our client is currently looking for a temporary Accounting Reconciliation Specialist to join the team. This is a temp to perm opportunity based in NYC. All candidates must be immediately available and be able to work in office 5 days a week.

Client Details

This client is a rapidly growing logistics company based in New York City.

Description

Independently manage daily carrier payment requests from operations and vendors.

Batch approved invoices for payment to vendors and accurately post in the AP ledger.

Independently prepare remittance in Excel for payment execution.

Reconciliation of vendor statements which includes the contra settlements of both

Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable

Maintain vendor account relationships and respond to inquiries timely.

Communicate with other divisions to resolve discrepancies on disputed/unpaid invoices

Intervention and resolution of urgent (ASAP) payments as needed.

Ensure accurate posting of all outgoing payments

Escalate past due accounts to management as needed to avoid business interruptions.

Profile

• 2-5 Years of Accounts Payable experience with understanding of reconciliations
• Strong Excel and Word Skills
• AS400 experience
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• CANDIDATES MUST BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
