Our client is an amazing organization whose mission is to help those affected by addiction and substance abuse. They are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join them in at their Brooklyn office!
Job Description
- Work with the VP of HR to ensure best HR practices
- Oversee the HR team, ensuring that performance is met
- Resolve employee relations issues
- Communicate with managers and employees
- Performance coaching and management
- Contribute to a safe environment for the HR and non HR employees
- Partner with recruitment to attract the best talent for the organization

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of HR experience
- Experience in both non-profit and other industries
- Must be vaccinated and boosted
- Must have experience working with union employees
- SHRM certification is a huge plus!
- Well rounded, mission driven, and hardworking
- Great communicator who works well on a team
