The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), a not-for-profit organization, is searching for an organized and self-motivated individual to join our team as the government relations specialist. This position supports activities related to public policy-making processes that impact the association and its members, grassroots advocacy, activities related to ethical inquiries, task force coordination, and provides administrative support to the VP of Government Relations. We are looking for an individual who’s excited to meet our state legislators, build relationships, and bring fresh ideas/collaborate on strategies to benefit the organization, our members, and other key stakeholders. We pride ourselves on excellent member service, helping them solve problems, no matter how small the problem is.
