Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in our Prince George office. Responsibilities include hospital and physicians services insurance billing to 3rd party payers. The Medical Billing Specialist will analyze accounts to determine appropriate follow-up approaches for effective resolution. Ensures appropriate billing elements are correct per the payers recommendation for rebilling the claim. Perform follow-up collections on all accounts, including self pay. Review accounts for appropriate adjustments and write-offs. Resolve credit balances. Comprehensive benefits package.
Successful candidates will possess:
- 3-5 years experience in medical billing for physicians’ services
- Knowledge of payer coding and documentation requirements, billing/claim edits and Medicare, Medicaid billing regulations
- Prior experience in a office setting is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 – $21.13 per hour
