Human Resources Manager Job – International Freight Forwarding – Miami, FL

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the business in recruiting, staffing and onboarding new employees with the company training expectations

• Support the business with the full Human Resourse cycle

• Pocessing Payroll in a timely manner

• Provide timely advice and support to line managers on medium-high risk/complexity people issues such as: disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, medium to long term absence (up to and including capability dismissals), performance management, whistle-blowing claims, Employment Tribunals, and small claims

• Support the business in organisational changes that involve individual or collective consultation

• Maintain accurate and up to date records of all actions and documentation relating to cases being managed through to conclusion

• Identify policy developments, documentation and implementatition recommendations are made

• Coach line managers, facilitate ER workshops and design/deliver ER training in order to develop ER capability within the organisation

• Work in partnership with the wider HR Team (Bestway Retail), providing insight on our Policies and Guidelines

• Work proactively with the Board to agree consistent processes and hand offs that provide the business with seamless HR support and advice from initial query through to conclusion

Requirements:

10+ Years Human Resourses Experience in Freight Forwarding Industry

Batchelor’s degree is mandatory

Understanding and practice in Microsoft Excel and database functions.
Out-going and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to decode problems in a timely manner

Deep knowledge of US Employment Law is a must
