Milestone Business Solutions is seeking a full-time, remote HR Generalist to partner with our expanding list of unique, up-and-coming, and just plain awesome clients.

What You’ll Do
You will work with our client companies in a variety of industries and geographies, helping to ensure their HR function operates smoothly, creating positive company cultures, and providing assistance and resources to their teams throughout the employee lifecycle.
A Day in the Life
- Onboarding and offboarding team members
- Maintaining employee files and process documentation
- Revising and updating company handbooks, including first drafts of new policies
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state labor regulations
- Assisting with leave management, including FMLA
- Assisting with benefits enrollment and inquiries
- Coordinating performance reviews and stay interviews
- Coordinating workplace investigations, preparing reports as needed
- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system updates
HR Milestones Under Your Belt
- A minimum of 3 years of HR experience
- A consulting mindset with excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service
- Understanding of HR processes, best practices, and compliance
- Experience working with multi-state companies/clients is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
**This is a remote position with required quarterly travel to the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Candidates within a reasonable driving distance of Indianapolis are preferred.**
