JOB SUMMARY

The estimator I is responsible for assisting the senior estimator with developing accurate, profitable, and timely estimates. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, has excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to read plans/blueprints and conduct quantity take offs.

Candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with demonstrated ability to work as a team member with senior estimator and operations personnel.

A strong understanding of construction practices is a plus

Provide take offs and projected estimated numbers.

Communication with foreman in the field to provide assistance on project for reading plans, providing take offs.

Communication with vendors on projects for when supplies are needed.

Assist when contracts are award to verify correct quantities are accounted for.
