Miller Bonded Inc Hiring For Accounting Clerk at Albuquerque, NM Full Time

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk! You will be responsible for the effective daily management of our Accounts Payable program as well as various other Accounting related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Review, scan, enter and route all invoices for processing and payment; Ensure invoices and credits are entered timely
• Maintain and streamline A/P processes
• Process batches for payment
• ensure timely reconciliation of all credit card accounts
• Prepare and submit daily deposit, record receipts and credit card transactions in the accounting system
• Petty cash maintenance
• Review and update fabrication and inventory shipment batches
• Reconciliation of miscellaneous accounts
• Review and reconcile monthly statements
• Submit and track work comp group fund reimbursements for allowable member services purchases/invoices
• calculation, submission and payment of various tax payments
• Bank reconciliation
• Maintenance of electronic badges issued to employees
• Other Accounting related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in A/P, Accounting helpful – not required
• Knowledge of common purchase order processes helpful
• Ability to multi-task with various software programs
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
