We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to provide coordinated tactical and strategic human resources solutions for our Litchfield, MN manufacturing facility, including driving employee engagement, cultural integration and supporting Company growth.
Job Description
Plan, organize and control all activities of the human resources function at the plant level
Participate in developing departmental goals, objectives & systems and oversee administration of the employee related programs
Manage and oversee talent acquisition process for exempt and non-exempt positions
Partner with leadership team to identify plan for Human Resources to support attainment of business needs
Lead all aspects of the Human Resources office including, but not limited to: Employee training, onboarding process, engagement & retention of employees, implementation and management of policies, procedures, performance review process and conflict management.
Council and coach supervisors or managers on employee relation topics
Conducts investigations as required in areas of discrimination or harassment.
Partner with leadership team to utilize metrics and analysis compiled to recommend processes to improve employee engagement, absenteeism turnover or other unnecessary losses or costs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Businesses or other related programs and 5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing setting
PHR or SPHR certification desired
Previous Safety Management experience a plus
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Effective counseling, negotiating and conflict management skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to multi task and manage changing priorities
Proven internal customer service and problem resolution skills
Ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals
Flexibility to be available if needed on all shifts, including nights and weekendsQualifications
