MINTH’s production facilities have introduced many advanced production lines and the processes include extrusion, co-extrusion, roll-forming, bending, stamping, injection, surface treatment (which includes plastic & metal painting), plating, chroming, anodizing, and more. SUMMARY
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for providing HR support to employees. This position is responsible for supporting the business goals and objectives aligned with the organizations strategies. This position leads HR and Operation teams in administering policies, programs and practices. This role will also provide general administrative duties with an emphasis on human resources projects including, but not limited to, maintaining electronic filing systems, onboarding, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to support organizational growth, employee development and a positive culture.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database confidentially, timely and accurately
Analyzing reports on workforce data including, headcount, turnover, labor statistics etc. weekly, monthly and annually
Conducts new hire orientation, and other training sessions as needed
Assists with writing communications and policies ensuring thorough familiarity and that they are interpreted fairly and applied consistently
Assists with maintaining and coordinates company housing for international assignees
Ensures all regulatory compliance reporting is complete and submitted as appropriate
Devises programs for operational improvement (i.e., recognition, morale, engagement)
Conducts exit interviews and paperwork is completed for departing employees
Assists with the facilitation of the annual processes including, performance management, salary adjustment, promotional review
Creates, distributes and analyzes employee survey data and recommends solutions in areas of need
General human resource related functions such as policy monitoring, performing job analysis, writing job descriptions
Act as primary liaison between immigration attorney and employees during the immigration process
Process employment based non-immigrant visa petitions and other documents primarily in the categories of H-1B, TN, E-3, J-1 in partnership with immigration attorney
Process all permanent residency applications, including labor certification, recruitment process, I-140 and I485 filings, in partnership with immigration attorney
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
Minimum 3-5 year of human resources experience preferred
Understanding of labor laws and regulations
Experience working with highly confidential information while maintain discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note
Knowledge working with ADP, Success Factors and PeopleSoft, Plex
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written
Must be a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Highly detail-oriented with the ability handle shifting deadlines and priorities
High level of commitment, sound judgment, great follow-through, and initiative
Uphold all company policies required to provide top quality service to external customers
A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to be proactive, to work independently of day-to-day supervision
Preferred bilingual – Chinese fluent
