Software Sales Engineer/Trainer
Mirabel Technologies is conducting a highly selective search for a Software Sales Engineer/Trainer to join our team. Software Sales Engineer/Trainers are technical experts for our software products that train and consult with clients and give sales presentations of our products. The job is a hybrid software training and sales presentation position. The first year would be spent learning our products and training customers and then this position would gravitate toward sales presentations with training and consulting filling up the time outside of the sales presentations. A priority for our software trainers is the ability to upsell clients into our products which is why we focus on trainers who also have sales presentation ability and are not afraid to ask for upsells and contract renewals.
The ultimate goal is to take clients from contract signing to go-live (and beyond) – and to ensure that clients are avid users and raving fans of our Mirabel products! Opportunities to travel to conduct onsite implementation and training for larger clients is available. A successful candidate will be technically savvy (able to grasp technical concepts of web-based software and integration quickly), be an excellent communicator, possess the ability to effectively transfer knowledge in a consultative manner, be customer-focused and operate with a sense of urgency. Experience upselling clients into larger packages and comfort making presentations in front of groups is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
· Complete an accelerated training and qualification program
· Coordinate installation and training schedules with clients
· Train client end-user personnel in the utilization of the software product
· Configure software to provide the options and features requested; including customized reports and services
· Act as liaison between the client and the Mirabel Technologies technical staff and senior leadership
· Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
· Occasional Travel onsite as needed to conduct client training or sales presentations.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
· Strong writing, telecommunications, and public speaking skills
· A high level of customer interaction as a Customer Success Specialist via remote tools like Zoom, WebEx or Go to Meeting and Face to Face
· Demonstrated ability to work well with customers and resolve customer issues
· Strong sense of ownership/urgency. Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision support capacity
· Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pluses:
· Experience with accounting or general ledger systems
· Experience with data mapping, data importing or data conversion projects
· Working knowledge of business-focused software applications (such as CRM systems), in particular, internet-based software solutions
· Experience in a software (preferably SaaS) implementation/ training role
· Experience conducting software testing
· Experience in Marketing/Sales of Computer Software
