Job Overview –
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and executing property marketing strategies to achieve Miraval Austin business goals including increasing brand awareness, leveraging brand partnerships, driving website traffic, increasing digital engagement, CTRs, and revenue. Primary duties are to manage annual marketing plans, taking ownership of property Commercial Marketing Calendar, generating month end reports, executing content production and content creation initiatives for the property. The Marketing Manager will support project management assignments, administrative responsibilities, and brand awareness communication. This position reports to the Miraval Austin General Manager from a stakeholder and administrative perspective and the Miraval Group – AVP of Sales, Marketing & Brand and Director of Digital & Brand Marketing from a strategic and directional perspective. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills, problem-solving skills, ability to support multiple cross-property teams, perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. This position should be an expert in content optimization and brand consistency, ensuring that all marketing channels, website, social media platforms are upholding Miraval brand standards. Ultimately, the Marketing Manager should be able to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure high customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive guest experience.

Essential Job Functions –
1. Manage the execution of marketing strategies and initiatives to support business goals
for Miraval property
2. Track and report on monthly marketing initiative and ROI reporting in RevMax
presentations and Commercial Calendar
3. Execute property printed monthly guide, along with all other printed and electronic
promotional materials (digital boards, upcoming events, promotional and educational
templates) for the property and property teams
4. Manage the property’s marketing and communications plan including marketing,
advertising (print, social, digital, website), public relations, guest loyalty, special event
planning and promotions
5. Work with the brand marketing team as well as vendors, partners, property teams to
coordinate marketing activities. Flawlessly execute on programs, spa & culinary and
initiatives for the property
6. Organize and able to effectively handle multiple projects at the same time.
7. Work with programming, spa, and culinary teams and creative source to oversee
development of property guide, digital marketing boards, and other on-site
communication items
8. Work in a fast-paced environment and deliver projects on deadline including
initiatives including but not limited to direct mail, loyalty programs, monthly guide,
guest events, CRM campaigns
9. Monitor Hyatt and individual property website accuracy and ensure content updates
are executed efficiently as required
10. Assist with the development of property specific content.
11. Assist with coordination and execution of on-site photo and video shoots.
12. Manage all marketing and public relations site visits. Coordinate all itineraries and
ensure flawless executed stays
13. Maintaining, Printing, Ordering, and overall Collateral inventory
14. Development, tracking and processing for marketing guests VIP / press with site
alerts, itinerary planning, press kits, amenities, and deliverable tracking
15. Management of marketing media deadlines and project timelines
16. Marketing/community relations events coordination
17. Assist with processing and organizing marketing invoices and working with DOF on
18. month end reconciliation & budget forecasts
19. Assist with communication and adherence of brand vision and brand SOPs on
property and with all departments
20. Maintain asset manager with approved photo, video, and creative assets
21. Maintain key understanding of property department’s key initiatives and goals and
provide marketing support to Culinary, Spa, Sales, Retail, Programs, Leisure Sales
Qualifications
1. 3-4 years copywriting and social media content management.
2. 3-4 years professional copywriting and/or journalism experience
3. 3-4 years marketing experience particularly familiar with social media channels and
social media marketing
4. Bachelor of Arts or Science or associated degree
5. Ability to create cutting-edge social media and digital marketing content
6. Writing, blogging, proofreading ability
7. Superior knowledge of top-performing social media platforms
8. Experience managing website content and WordPress platforms
9. Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and the ability to optimize
strategies based on findings
10. Experience in hospitality or wellness/spa marketing
11. Ability to work independently and flexibly with significant attention to detail and
accuracy
12. Ability to collaborate with marketing and property teams to create promotional
concepts
13. Capacity to prioritize and work on multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines
