Job Description and Qualifications
ORGANIZATION SUMMARY:
Our organization is a vibrant, independent, faith-based non-profit dedicated to supporting women and their families impacted by substance abuse. The Foundation’s mission is delivered through a variety of programs and services, including housing to women recovering from substance abuse.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of administrative and other tasks providing support where needed. This is a part-time position with some opportunity for both a flexible schedule occasionally work virtually from home and travel a few times a year.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration:
Design, message writing, execution and responding to social media outreach
Handles the non-profits database entry and other database work as assigned
Data entering, letter creation and distribution assisting marketing as needed
Schedule and distribute Board and Committee meeting logistics and materials.
Responsible for filing and maintaining all office documents.
Manage all internal database administration including data entry tracking and online
submission for corporate and foundation grants.
Manage and respond to all incoming emails and inquires.
Assembling, mailing and tracking literature requests and program materials
Proofreader/Editor (spelling/grammar). Writing skills and attention to detail REQUIRED
Program support to women including transport to appointments Maintain inventory including tracking and notifying appropriate staff when items are
becoming low, broken or have gone missing. Teaching life skills to participants.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of five years of experience working in a corporate or nonprofit work environment in an administrative position combined with complementary education is preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; and internet/website use.

Excellent organizational and planning capabilities and willingness to help grow the organization
Ability to manage multiple projects within designated timelines while delivering high-quality results.
Experience in a non-profit is preferred but not required.

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
