The Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily receiving, warehousing and shipping of products in accordance with company procedures and policies to achieve productivity, quality, and cost objectives. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities including kaizen projects, 7S, and problem-solving techniques. We are looking for someone to work Wednesday – Friday 9:30am- 8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am – 6:30pm.
Job Responsibilities
- Packs product based on daily orders using automated retrieval system
- Prepares and ships customer orders in a timely manner
- Keeps products separated, organizer and in good rotation
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Reports any mechanical problems
- Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Follows required work safety practices and ISO procedures
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Under direct supervision, responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies and products.
- Responsible for cycle counting.
- Responsible for stocking all inventory.
- Other tasks as assigned
Competency Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
- Detail oriented
- Small parts handling experience a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
