MNS is hiring a Sr Human Resources Generalist for its California offices. This position has the option of being remote (with the ability to be in an office when necessary), or a having a hybrid work schedule with days in one of the nine Central Coast the office and days at home.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
MNS Engineers is seeking a solutions focused, results-oriented Sr Human Resources Generalist to support our California offices. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Sr Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting the entire employment lifecycle for staff, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training, leaves of absence, health and safety, benefits management and coordination, employee relations, and other related areas. This role is critical to the success of MNS Engineers, as it is the foundation for all employees.
As our Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for maintaining lifecycle status changes and processing background checks and new-hire paperwork with employees and within Paylocity. You will ensure and provide a smooth on- and off-boarding process for employees and handle all internal reporting. You will also be responsible for updating job descriptions, leave of absence and WC paperwork, benefits enrollment, and updates, and responding to general employee questions.
The ideal candidate will have a high initiative drive to own and represent their function. They will also need a positive demeanor and a passion for serving others, including the support to all levels of staff. You should also be excited about improving upon key human resources functions in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements
You should have experience and enjoy supporting the entire employment lifecycle and have intermediate to advanced proficiency with HR systems for mid-sized organizations, Microsoft Office Suite, web-based file sharing and communication, and related software. You should have advanced knowledge of employment law and practices.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive Human Resources experience.
