Please Note: This role is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with one of our clients.
Responsibilities:
Engineer and develop Twilio Flex software platform for our 700+ agent Customer Solutions Center.
Solve technical problems by working closely with Agile scrum masters, UX, product managers, and remote teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Manage the delicate balance between implementation complexity, time to market and scalability, and resiliency
Contribute significantly to sprints, meet sprint deadlines, help other team members with their sprint commitments and take the lead on urgent tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering (or equivalent experience)
Experience with contact center or customer communications/telephony software development
Public Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket page so we can check out your code
Required Skills:
5+ years of software development and testing experience
3+ years of experience with JavaScript and React.js
Knowledge of Twilio contact center services – Twilio Flex, Programmable Voice, Chat, SMS, Taskrouter, Flex Insights, etc.
Ability to write well-tested and documented code.
Strong knowledge of RESTful Services/APIs and ability to understand and Troubleshoot issues with cloud solutions.
Strong Quality Assurance testing techniques
Experience with software integrations and building middleware connectors
Strong understanding of OOP concepts
Strong communication skills: in person, on paper, or in code. You can explain
Technical concepts to product managers, other engineers, and customer support teams
Ability to mentor engineers on best practices, development techniques, code quality, etc.
Advanced time management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and proficiency at developing workflows to increase troubleshooting efficiency while still following standard processes and procedures.
