Key Responsibilities:
Recruit for select exempt openings, as well as all non-exempt, hourly, temporary and contract openings for Corporate, Building HVAC and the Americas region. This includes developing search strategy with hiring managers, identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, interviewing, conducting reference and degree verifications and preparing and delivering employment offers.
Contribute to the development of external recruitment advertisements and materials.
Oversees the intranet job posting program and coordinates the internal placement of professional, technical and clerical employees within the Racine facility.
Assist in the development and maintenance of positive, proactive relationships with a select group of colleges, universities and professional organizations in order to achieve a strong and diverse talent base in support of entry-level recruiting needs.
Develop and maintain positive, proactive relationships with the student chapters at select colleges and universities to support heightened awareness and image of Modine Manufacturing Company on campus.
Contribute to the development and ongoing management of comprehensive co-op and internship programs.
Identify and implement diversity recruiting initiatives.
Provide support to the Human Resources Manager on all EEO reporting and Affirmative Action outreach initiatives as necessary.
Contribute to the development and administration of entry-level development programs in Engineering, Operations and Finance.
Oversee and coordinate all new employee Onboarding programs, events and new hire paperwork.
Act as an HR resource to answer general employee questions, as well as provide employee relations counseling and conflict resolution as needed.
Assist all department members as needed and during vacations.
Handle other special projects and assignments from all areas within Human Resources as requested.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business.
Internship experience in the Human Resources field preferred.
Outstanding communication skills, including written, oral and group presentation.
Outstanding interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Disciplined self-starter with extreme organization skills and the ability to be resourceful.
Self-confidence and professionalism to successfully interact throughout the organization, both vertically and horizontally.
PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Proven ability to work independently and confidentially, and to self-proof his/her own work.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 5% for career fairs, recruitment initiatives and training as required.
