Must Reside in Syracuse NY or close surrounding area.

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading one District Manager and support their own region of restaurants as well. The position is responsible for supporting and ensuring that all restaurants operate within Moe’s Southwest Grill standards, execute existing systems, ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, while meeting/exceeding sales and profitability objectives. The DO is accountable for training, coaching, and mentoring managers in all areas of the business and ensuring the company maximizes sales and profits through local marketing, guest satisfaction, and retention.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and development skills
• Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills
• Ability to positively influence and manage through others
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to solve complex problems
• Proven track record and success managing multiple restaurants
• Proven track record in successfully training and developing people
• Experience with Kitchen thru-put (efficiency) processes in a multi-unit environment
• Experience and proven track record in managing a budget, cost controls to increase revenue and profitability
• Ability to work well and partner with others in a team-oriented environment
• Five years experience working in a full service, multi-unit environment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Must be able to travel
