The Government Sales Administrator & Quote Specialist will work with the sales and business development team to support Mohawk’s sales objectives. The position will be responsible for the following;
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain relationships with key sales partners and resellers nationwide including technical & business data, and other information. Generate quotes for Sales Partners, Distributors, and Internal Sales Team as necessary, with primary focus on Government Sales. Order Entry for Government Partner Sales and Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager. Develop and apply a full understanding of pricing models, government contracts, and the terms and conditions associated with various contracts & product lines to effectively coordinate with partners and customers to increase sales and streamline sales fulfillment with full understanding and maintain computer applications and sales databases to maximize utilization of these systems to track, monitor, and close sales. You will report sales activity on a regular basis, and share sales/pipeline data with key parties as requested which is why it is so important to have the skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records to prospective sales opportunities, including maintaining and monitoring Mohawk’s CRM database. You will have the ability to administer/Project Manage and support Mohawk’s RFP, RFQ, and general bidding process, and maintain associated documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS: As indicated, Must be detail oriented and highly organized. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interact with customers via telephone and in-person. Must be driven and goal oriented and willing to take on new challenges and see them through. Must be able to demonstrate meeting goals and expectations. Must be able to read, write, and speak English language and be understood. Must be computer savvy including CRM tools, and high-level of proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and related software applications. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree or similar experience in Business, Marketing, or related field with a preferred minimum of one (1) year in an sales or office support role. Entry level candidates will be considered.
