Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative:
Processes HR related transactions in the human resource information system (HRIS) according to established procedures.
Enters, maintains, updates, ensures accuracy of employee data in the HRIS.
Handles onboarding transactions and supporting information for new hires.
Ensures accuracy of employee records in the HRIS. Assists with improvements as needed.
Conducts regular information gathering for HR use.
Assists in electronic data recordkeeping of policies and procedures.
HR systems and reporting:
Maintains and compiles data for various HR management reports and metrics.
Enters, collects, maintains, and compiles HR information from a variety of sources including the HRIS and payroll outputs, management, and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, and other sources.
Analyzes data for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, onboarding, and turnover.
Evaluates and recommends improvements to existing processes and assists in the implementation of thereof.
Assists with payroll administration as needed.
Benefits Data Administration
Administers company benefits transactions. Compiles and maintains benefits records and documentation and provides support for open enrollment within the benefits area.
Assist HR with staffing & recruiting as needed.
Provide support for other all administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR experience.
Experience working in HRIS and time and attendance systems as well as a strong computer background is a must.
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment a plus.
Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.
