mentorship, and academic support. As a representative of the Little River Institute, the Pathfinder will work closely with Little River
Institute project team and university faculty to promote the successful retention and college completion of American Indian students.
In 2015, MSU-N received a $1.9 million grant through the Native American Serving Nontribal Institutions (NASNTI) Program of the U.S.

retention and completion rates of Native American students in higher education. The Little River Institute provides professional tutoring,
mentorship, and cultural programming to MSU-N students while offering professional development opportunities to faculty and staff.
