The HR Recruiting Assistant is primarily responsible for sourcing candidates, using a variety of different means, reviewing/screening/processing candidate information as well as conducting pre-screening interviews to determine candidate’s qualifications for a position and makes decisions if they are minimally qualified for a position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sources potential candidates, using a variety third-party platforms
• Review candidate’s application/resume to determine if they meet the minimum qualifications Conducts a pre-screening interview and advises candidates of next steps
• Schedules interviews for Recruiter and hiring managers
• Continually and proactively communicates with a candidate throughout the process
• Conducts a thorough review of all candidate’s paperwork to ensure accurate and complete
• Assists in completing job offers and coordinating new hire orientation
• Assists and/or completes weekly tracking report regarding candidate activity
• Assist with customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
• Verifies/Completes/Maintains I-9 documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of recruiting experience is a plus, but equivalent experience in an HR field and knowledge of the recruiting process may also be considered
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform detailed work in a timely manner with accuracy and thoroughness
• Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office
• Ability to work at a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to demonstrate high ethical standards and set a positive example
• Ability to think clearly, logically, analyze issues and use good judgment to carry out responsibilities
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and have great attendance
• Ability to work in fast-paced/high volume recruiting environment
