Position Summary
The Human Resource System Analyst will maintain the integrity and reliability of the organization’s HRIS, ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR department.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, HR management, business administration, or similar required
3-5 years of experience as an HRIS analyst in higher education highly preferred
At least three years of experience with HR business systems highly preferred.
Experience with Banner preferred or higher education HRM system
SHRM-CP a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional interpersonal, communication & technical support skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries
Ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and train staff.
Extensive experience in analyzing HRIS and HR performance metrics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.

Essential Duties/Responsiblities
Collaborates with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine the short- and long-term information department and system objectives; develops a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications/Banner, modules, and systems to meet those objectives.
Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues.
Performing audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
