We offer a growing menu of clinical tests which help diagnose underlying conditions that are not routinely available through other laboratories. Summary of position:
The Application Developer will design and code functional programs and applications. They will work as part of a team and individually with little supervision. We expect the Application Developer has excellent knowledge of various programming languages and technologies. They must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will also have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail. At GPL, they will work on our Web Portal, Web API’s, and work with us to implement new technologies where appropriate.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features.
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications.
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch.
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Proven experience as application developer
• Experience in designing and building applications
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools

Technical Proficiencies:

• Experience developing with Microsoft technologies and Azure environment.
• Experience in SQL Server database and programming.
• ASP .NET Core development and C# language.
• Experience building and integrating Web APIs.
• Experience in React Web Development.
• Responsive Web Designing Skills.
• Experience in WordPress (desired).

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
