This position supports the Accounting Department. The person filling this position is responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting, business systems management, and other tasks in support of business operations. This person assists with financial management for both corporate and contract expenditures and billings.

The ideal candidate has experience in Government contracting and must be able to research, analyze, coordinate, develop and maintain business documentation. The candidate must also be able to create, analyze, validate and verify reports. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work as a team player, and keep pace with a high-volume workload.

Position Overview:

• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and process Accounts Payable (AP)
• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and process Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and process employee reimbursements
• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and process payroll
• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and submit invoices
• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and submit internal reports
• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and submit cost information required for proposals
• Prepare, review, validate, verify, and submit Government (FAR/DFAR) required reports
• Manage, optimize, and maintain information on our information systems
• Identify, develop, and implement Accounting & Finance Department SOPs and processes
• Support purchase request activities
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures
• Manage and maintain corporate pricing repositories

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience working on and/or with Government contracts
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience with invoicing, AP, and AR
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience working payroll processing and systems
• Experience with GAAP accounting principles
• Experience with DCAA and DCMA regulations, policies, and guidelines
• Experience with monthly closing and reconciliations
• High proficiency in MS Office365 (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio)
• Experience with complex accounting systems (e.g. UNANET)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified Public Account (CPA) status in good standing is desired, but not required
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (OR) Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
