The position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: • Establishes strategy and direction for the human resources and administration department aligning department strategy with the cooperative’s strategic goals. • Manages human resources related programs including the performance management and compensation program as well as performance improvement plans and other disciplinary measures. • Manages all employee policies ensuring compliance with current federal, state and local law. • Manages employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, 401(k), Health savings accounts and 125 Flexible Benefit Plans including annual reviews and recommendations to management and the board of directors. • Manages many aspects of the organizational development program at MPEI, including but not limited to HR related training for all employees, supervisors and managers. Designs and implements training programs as needed. • Manages MPEI’s recruiting program from job postings through onboarding, working closely with hiring managers to increase retention. • Maintains organization’s confidential personnel, medical, leave, PHI, etc. files and is responsible for the confidential administration of the personnel/human resource functions. • Assists in coordinating administrative activities involving the Board of Directors, General Manager, and Department Managers. • Maintains board policies. • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation Range $119,372 – $220,365 annual salary depending on experience.
