Compensation: Grade 6, $20.00 per hour. Pay will be by direct deposit. Includes Utah Retirement Systems (URS) enrollment, long term disability coverage, and a health care reimbursement program. Cost sharing for Costco or Sam’s Club membership and gym membership available.
FLSA: Non-exempt.
Schedule: Two part-time positions available, 20 hours per week. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Reports to: The Front Desk Receptionist reports to the Director of Administrative Services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating various clerical duties. Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, process and distribute mail. Purchase office supplies, coordinate mailings and meeting schedules, complete purchase orders, invoices, and vouchers. Other duties include taking and transcribing meeting minutes, data entry, providing backup and support to Accounts Payable and Administration, and similar tasks. Management of the UTA Farepay program including working with community agencies and the public.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibility.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be flexible in coordinating work assignments with interruptions, operate a multi-line phone system and general office equipment.
Willingness to work with the public and staff in person and over the phone.
Must be friendly and have excellent communication skills, including the ability to respond to the public both by phone and in person.
Must be punctual, detail-oriented, able to take initiative and complete work assignments independently.
Willingness and ability to coordinate schedules with other staff to cover absences.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other computer software applications is desired.
Ability to take and transcribe meeting minutes is desired.
Willingness to take on additional assignments and responsibilities as required.
Spanish-speaking ability desired but not required.
Ability to work additional hours based on business needs is preferred.
Ability to work in the office is required. No working from home accommodations will be considered.
Education and Experience:
Graduation from high school; AND
One year of work experience in an office setting, including data entry, knowledge of office procedures and organizational skills, OR
An equivalent year-for-year combination of related education and experience.
