Team members can sell ad space and expo booth space in major markets throughout Michigan and Northern Indiana.This is a unique opportunity to build a lucrative income with unlimited potential while setting your own schedule. The Account Executive’s complete focus is welcoming new clients into the magazine and expos, all while maintaining the highest quality relationships with existing customers. They will network with business professionals at trade associations and membership organizations, networking events, and through cold-calling techniques, all with the goal of making new business connections. The Account Executive will develop and pursue sales leads, utilizing a variety of marketing initiatives that range from in-person meetings to email and telephone calls.The ideal candidate must be a quick learner, possess superb communication skills, demonstrate proficiency with technology (computer, smartphone, etc.), and have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience.Duties Include: Responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with our current customers as well as developing new accounts.Planning and implementing a sales strategy for both magazine and expo clients.Conducting in-person meetings with existing, past, and potential clients through detailed probing and excellent listening skills.Gathering information and creating marketing solutions using Moxie Media Group’s products and services.Building and maintaining a list of prospective clients to pursue.Developing strong relationships with clients, peers, and community leaders.Notifying clients of updates, advertising promotions, and opportunities.Attending all required training and sales meetings, company events, and networking events in the community.Offering final approval on ads prior to publication.Meeting monthly sales goals.Requirements: Minimum 2 years of sales experience.Excellent presentation and communication skillsAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationships.Time management, business acumen, and a strong work ethic are a must.Creative, compelling, and persuasive communication style preferred.Ability to learn new skills and thrive and a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional customer service skills and professional demeanor.Curiosity and passion to stay on top of all local competitive media (daily and weekly publications, broadcast, cable, direct mail, out-of-home ads, digital, etc.)
B2B or outside sales experience is a plus.Pay Rate: Base salary (dependent on experience) + 20% commission and a $2,500 signing bonus after closing four deals within the first 30 days.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $42,000.00 – $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:
