Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns to promote fundraising events and initiatives
- Create compelling content for various communication channels, including social media, email newsletters, website, and press releases
- Manage social media accounts and online presence, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages
- Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, such as flyers, posters, and promotional materials, to promote fundraising events
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities for engagement
- Assist with media outreach and relationship building, including drafting pitches, press releases, and media advisories
- Support event planning and execution, including logistics coordination, vendor management, and on-site support during events
- Track and analyze communication performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different audiences and channels
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous experience in communications, marketing, event planning, or nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required
