This is a grant funded, limited-term position with a grant end date of January 31, 2025.
Position can work remotely or on campus. Must be able to travel to college consortium
member colleges, including monthly or more frequent trips to the MHCC Gresham
campus for meetings as needed.
Initial Salary Placement: $50,064 – $58,038
Job Summary
Coordinates, manages, and evaluates employer engagement activities as related to USDOL Strengthening Community Colleges (SCC) Training Grant. Collaboratively develops and implements key strategies related to employer engagement in sector industries, increases coordination with workforce development agencies, and deepens engagement with industry partners to enhance accelerated learning pathways for target industry sectors. Creates business and employer relationships across the consortium college regions. Convenes and facilitates the Employer Engagement Committee meetings.

Working Conditions
Works assigned schedule, and exhibits regular and predictable attendance. May need to work outside of typical schedule including evening and weekend hours as necessary to meet workload demands. Remote work is permitted. Work requires frequent travel to college consortium member colleges, and monthly check-in meetings at the MHCC Gresham campus.
Salary:
Initial salary placement will be based on years of relevant full-time equivalent experience at the sole discretion of the College, per the guidelines in the applicable Handbook or Collective Bargaining Agreement. Please include all relevant full and part-time experience in your application that you want the College to review towards potential placement. Hired employees will not have an opportunity to update past experience or appeal initial placement after the time of hire.
