Currently seeking an Accounting Associate for our Boonton, NJ office. Responsible for providing financial and administrative assistance in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial records and administrative operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process Purchase invoicing and most aspects of the accounts payable function, including telephone, mail, or email communication with vendors
• Assist with the opening and sorting of business office mail
• File and tally daily deposits
• Process daily purchase invoicing
• Record general journal entries/transactions
• Back up to other department positions
• Other various finance/accounting related functions

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintaining general ledgers

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bookkeeping skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Effective organizational skills
• Effective written communication skills
• Computer skills – Excel, Word, OutlookExcellent Benefits, Salary based on Experience.
