ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
District volunteer coordinator;
Liaison to new staff; assisting with onboarding, benefits communication, and new hire processes;
Process workers compensation claims;
Student teacher assignments & strategic partnerships with higher education;
Guest teacher coordinator;
Assist with recruitment efforts which may include career fairs, community outreach and social media engagement;
Lead employee recognition/celebration efforts;
Lead certified & support staff licensure;
Ensure compliance of employee evaluation cycles and completion;
Secure parent/student handbooks from schools;
Prepare materials for candidate interviews;
Lead logistical efforts for new staff orientation;
Intra-district transfer process;
Staff retirement communication and processes;
Assist with FMLA processes;
Perform general duties including, but not limited to, answering phones, sorting departmental documentation, and filing;
Cross train with other human resources staff to provide departmental coverage in case of a coworker’s absence;
Completes other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasionally required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; consistently and repetitively operates a computer and other office machinery such as calculation devices, copy machine and/or computer printer; regularly required to communicate and exchange accurate information with administration, staff, and the public.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 Months, Salaried
SALARY RANGE: $60,000-$65,000. Salary is Commensurate With Experience.
