Position Overview
Your primary responsibility is to support our marketing efforts for growth and customer retention as well as our national salesforce. You will be responsible for data validation, defining and maintaining marketing and sales dashboards, and assisting in interpreting data—providing insights on learnings and guidance on how to action the findings. You will play a critical role in influencing future marketing campaigns and sales cycle enhancements. In addition, you should be energetic, communicative, intellectually curious, passionate about continued learning, and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills.
As Sales and Marketing Analyst, You Will
· Aggregate data from multiple source systems to define, build, manage, and regularly distribute sales and marketing KPI dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness, pipeline management, and overall sales performance
· Create dashboards that clearly communicate complex data in a simple form to a non-technical audience
· Lead data validation efforts to ensure data contains accurate findings and insights, making recommendations for enhancements within Salesforce CRM as needed with the goal of continuously enhancing sales and marketing visibility and processes
· Procure location analytics data leveraging Power BI and CRM to inform strategic geographical targeting & segmentation strategies focused on increasing penetration in key markets and expanding our footprint
· Proactively identify trends in data to identify opportunities for performance improvement, recommending strategies that drive operational efficiency, subscriber growth, customer retention, and improvements in creation cost
· Analyze customer lifecycle and provide data identifying key customer touchpoints and interactions to inform future acquisition and retention strategies to optimize revenue, reduce attrition, and improve overall customer experience
· Compile ad hoc reporting as requested and appropriate with ongoing responsibilities
· Work with marketing and product teams to determine campaign goals (e.g., performance vs. awareness), develop cross-channel measurement plans and KPIs to ensure results are measurable and actionable
· Drive understanding for marketing performance at the campaign, program, and tactical level
· Analyze the results of marketing campaigns to optimize spend and identify channels for growth
· Provide strategic recommendations to optimize customer journeys and marketing funnel metrics
· Own sales reporting metrics and analytics, creating visibility into our sales funnel identifying and implementing processes to increase sales opportunities and sales cycle efficiencies
· Support the Sales team on strategic planning, sales strategy, and special projects
· Redesign and analyze the Company’s commission plan structures working with the SVP of Sales and CFO
· Participate in the development and execution of annual sales & marketing targets and tactical plans
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Data Analytics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or related field
· Experience with SQL/MySQL is required
· Prior experience with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation platforms is strongly preferred
· Two to four years of related experience in a sales, sales operations/strategy, marketing operations, business analyst, or other operational roles
· Ability to understand business needs, sales, and marketing operations
· Experience creating KPI dashboards and effectively communicating insights and trends in data to key stakeholders and leadership
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proven quantitative and analytical skills
· A strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas for process improvement
· Proven strength in QA’ing, interpreting, analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting on large data sets.
· Digital Marketing Analytics Experience (preferred)- Google Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, and Search Console
· Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot) is preferred
· Ecommerce Experience is a plus
· Self-motivated and capable of maintaining high standards while working independently
