Medical Records Specialist

Location: NE Portland and Corvalls

Pay Scale: $16-20 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Sign on Bonus: $1,000

MyTeam Medical Staffing Services seeks to fill two (2) Medical Records Specialists position in NE Portland and Corvallis. Medical Record Specialists candidate will possess a minimum of six months current physician office or clinic experience work with medical records. This is an immediate position to fill. Computer software use includes Centricity. Position has physical demands.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• COVID vaccine proof
• A minimum of 1-year current physician office or clinic experience

JOB DUTIES:

• Answer telephone inquiries with assistance from other staff
• 35 percent of the time the position is filing transcribed medical records into chart
• Opens and distributes incoming and posts outgoing mail. Assist with faxes and correspondence that requires medical records information.
• Back-up front desk entering demographics information into patient registration portion of the computer billing system and generate medical record. Also backs up Referral staff.
• Assists with pulling records for next day appointments, and telephone messages
• Assists with patients charts for appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
