Mechanical Contractor located northwest of Boston is seeking an experience Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience and must be able to handle a high volume of information and complete tasks on a timely basis. Experience in the construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly field payroll
• Maintain field employee files
• Field calls from field employees and foreman
• Certified payroll and CCIP reporting
• Make weekly payroll tax payments
• Quarterly tax filing, UI, FUTA, WH
• Send time cards
• Payroll adjustments to job costs
• First report of injuries
• Enter labor budgets into Foundations
• Weekly submission of child support file and payment
• Semi-annual update of union benefit tables and rates
• RSI/FSA administrator
• Review health and dental quotes annually with President & Controller
• Manage open enrollment process
• Annual 401k/health census
• Work with Stephenson & Brook on WC claims with President and Controller
• BCBS, MetLife, and RSI enrollments and changes
• PurelyHR administrator as well as monitoring and maintenance
• OSHA 300 Logs
• Field all HR and payroll related questions/issues from employee

Billings/Collections

• Post monthly billings
• Post cash receipts and maintain subcontractor sheet as well as AR sheet
• Manage collections of AR

• Update and maintain cash projection file

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
